Walking Trail

The historic site of Old St. Stephens is a valuable cultural resource that has the potential to help us understand a critical period in Alabama history. Many people put their lives at risk to seek a better future in this new territory as Alabama grew into statehood.

At the St. Stephens Historical Park you can visit part of this famous Alabama ghost town. A scenic Archaeological Trail takes you on a tour of part of this pristine archaeological site.
